  • Enumerate techniques in separating mixtures such as picking, winnowing, decantation, use of magnet, sieving, filtering, and evaporation.

a.) Separate the components of common solid mixtures containing magnetic and non-magnetic materials.
b.) Separate insoluble solid from a liquid using filtration.
