Grade 9 Health Module: Risk Factor Related to Intentional Injuries

This Self-Learning Module (SLM) is prepared so that you, our dear learners, can continue your studies and learn while at home. Activities, questions, directions, exercises, and discussions are carefully stated for you to understand each lesson.

Each SLM is composed of different parts. Each part shall guide you step-by-step as you discover and understand the lesson prepared for you.

  • The learner demonstrates understanding of the concepts and principles of safety education in the prevention of intentional injuries.

PERFORMANCE STANDARD

  • The learner consistently demonstrates resilience, vigilance and proactive behaviors to prevent intentional injuries.

LEARNING COMPETENCY:

1. Analyze the risk factors related to intentional injuries.

OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:

3. Identify safety protocols in any given incident.
