Welcome to this Module entitled Why Do I Need to Believe in Science? under Learning Strand 2 Scientific and Critical Thinking Skills of the ALS K to 12 Basic Education (BEC).

After studying this Module, you should be able to:
- explain the responsibilities suggested by/inherent in each right: exercising the right and obligations of citizenship at local, state, national, and global levels;
- analyze the effects of global issues and concerns on one’s life, group, community, nation, region, and the world, e.g. terrorism, global warming;
- determine the key message conveyed in the material viewed;
- explain the historical, political, economic, and socio-cultural roots of globalization; and
- analyze the implications of globalization on society.
