DepEd ALS Module 5: Promoting the Rights of Older Person and Persons with Disabilities

Welcome to this Module entitled Why Do I Need to Believe in Science? under Learning Strand 2 Scientific and Critical Thinking Skills of the ALS K to 12 Basic Education (BEC).

This module was designed to provide you with fun and meaningful opportunities for guided and independent learning at your own pace and time. You will be able to process the contents of the learning resource while being an active learner.

  • explain the rights of the elderly;
  • discuss the privileges of senior citizens;
  • exhibit appropriate attitudes such as confidentiality, privacy, courtesy, and respect;
  • identify the rights of PWDs (persons with disability);
  • respect the rights and be aware of the privileges of PWD;
  • show respect and compassion for PWDs; and
  • note details in material viewed.
