Transparent, Ethical and Accountable (TEA) Governance Ambassador (SCOUTERS ROCK) Pledge of Commitment

I, Name, Position, School do hereby pledge to commit myself to be a TEA Governance Ambassador (Scouters Rock) and an agent of organizational culture transformation in DepEd Region IV-A CALABARZON by:

DepEd CALABARZON TEA GOVERNANCE SCOUTERS ROCK

Strengthen the merit system and support open ranking procedures.

Create and nurture productive partnerships with all stakeholders in implementing various education programs, projects and activities.

Open all channels of communication (suggestion boxes, on-line and other media) to keep everybody updated on all policies and opportunities for professional growth and to gather constructive comments and feedback for enhanced delivery of services.

Uphold the norms of conduct for public servants (commitment to public interest, professionalism, justness and sincerity, political neutrality, responsiveness to the public, nationalism and patriotism, commitment to democracy, and simple living)

Take active part in monitoring and supervising teaching-learning activities as well as in providing technical assistance towards better outcomes.

Enable every school-aged child and youth to benefit from high quality basic education services.

Recognize and scale up research-enabled best practices of exemplary performance to sustain a culture of excellence.

Systematically push higher levels of practice in School-Based Management.

Render regular and accurate financial reports on MOOE and other funds generated from other sources and keep an updated and reliable e-BEIS.

Optimize the utilization of ICT in improving access to and quality of basic education services.

Conserve water, energy and other resources while performing tasks.

Keep schools and offices safe and eco-friendly.


SAMPLE ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT FOR TEA GOVERNANCE (SCOUTERS ROCK)

I. INTRODUCTION

According to Republic Act No. 6713 that establishing a code of conduct and ethical standards for public officials and employees, to uphold the time-honored principle of public office being a public trust, granting incentives and rewards for exemplary service. They shall enter public service with utmost devotion and dedication to duty, must act with justness and sincerity and shall not discriminate against anyone, especially the poor and the underprivileged, shall commit themselves to the democratic way of life and values, maintain the principle of public accountability, and manifest by deeds the supremacy of civilian authority over the military.

As what stated in R.A. No. 6713, they must possess and obey this by all public servants.

People working in all levels of government including local, state and federal are often referred to as public servants. Elected officials such as legislators, judges, mayors, and governors are public servants. Employees in the community or non-profit organizations may also be included in this description. Public servant professions include police officers, judges, and firefighters, as well as jobs that keep the government operating such as accounting, finance, information technology, and logistics management. Just about any job opportunity outside of the private sector can be categorized as public service. Public school principals, teachers, secretaries, and coaches are also considered civil servants.

According to Solomon Ortiz “Teachers are our greatest public servants; they spend their lives educating our young people and shaping our Nation for tomorrow.”

They performed their duties efficiently and honestly and complete dedication to the people and the nation most specifically to our 21st-century learners and the people within the entire communities.

II. HIGHLIGHTS OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Join hands, the principal and the teachers as a public servants were exerting the best they could give for good, fair services, commitment, just , fair and performances for developing productive youth to meet all demands of competition in the near future and produced also a good citizen of the country and become a successful in their chosen career.

During school days, the teachers make sure that all learners would give the best learning that all them would give to them. They show fairness in dealing with learners, encourage them to participate in class discussions, to use higher thinking skills in asking questions and integrate the values fairness, just, love, sincerity, devotion, and commitment of teaching and learning.

As public servants, they also would give importance the struggling readers to make the readers as well as the slow readers. They spent extra time to teach them to read and comprehend. They coached, trained them for the upcoming competition.

They also involved the students in different activities and taught them to become active.

The school head and teachers not only focus on serving the children but they also served, worked, involved in every activity in the community or barangay like tree planting, donate blood and gift giving to the poor or underprivileged people.

At the end of the school year with the full cooperation of the school head and teachers, we can produce an excellent, and productive 21st-century learners and useful citizen of the country.

Aside from the school head and teachers, Mr. Alberto Bautista help the teachers to teach struggling readers to read, the nurses, midwives, and dentists protected the learners to make the children healthy so that they can perform in class well. The Barangay health workers help them to check the health condition of the children. The barangay officials also support the need of the young learners.

III. PUPIL DEVELOPMENT

1. The struggling pupils would become readers.

2. Some of the learners won in the different contest most specifically in the field of journalism and sports.

Seven pupils won first place in Scriptwriting and Radio broadcasting, one of them won first place in editorial writing, second place in photojournalism, third in news writing during District Schools Press Conference, six of grade six pupils would become a

Division qualifiers and they won second and third place.

Nine players of LMES won first place in District Sports and athletics Meet, and they became a representative for division meet. Four players of Sepak Takraw won second place, and one of them will compete in STCAA this year. A chess player won second place in board 1 Chess and also second place as a team.

3. Values were imparted to the simple minds of the children like individualism, cooperation, just and love for learning.

4. The children worked independently during the group activities, answered in own words, asked questions relevant to the lessons and participated actively in the learning tasks.

5. Pupils also participated in different school activities like tree planting and others.

6. The pupils know the value of kindness, sharing and love to others specifically the poor children.

IV. STAFF DEVELOPMENT

The school head and teachers attended seminars with regards to the welfare and need of the learners so that they know how to serve them well.

V. SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS

1. 100% of the program should have been monitored and evaluated.

2. Solicit funds to support the needs of sick children and help people in Barangay Lanatan and Muntingtubig.

3. Continuing Seminar Workshop to reach the highest path of success particularly with the welfare of the learners.

4. Train to win to produce globally competitive 21st Century Learners
