Lesson 3 –Philippine Literature during Colonial Period
After going through this module, you are expected to:
1. identify the geographic, linguistic, and ethnic dimensions of Philippine literary history during colonial period;
2. differentiate/compare and contrast the various 21st century literary genres and the ones from the earlier genres/periods citing their elements, structures and traditions;
3. determine representative texts and authors during this period through oral history research; and
4. situate selected texts in the current context to enrich understanding.
