This Self-Learning Module (SLM) is prepared so that you, our dear learners, can continue your studies and learn while at home. This module was designed and written with you in mind. It is here to help you understand the different hydro meteorological hazards. The scope of this module permits it to be used in many different learning situations. The language used recognizes the diverse vocabulary level of students like you. The lessons are arranged for you to follow the standard sequence of the course. But the order in which you read them can be changed to correspond with the textbook you are now using.

2. Describe the phases of fire drill;
3. Identify fire emergency procedures;
4. Follow fire evacuation plans; and
5. Draw an emergency and evacuation map.
